These are a couple of Pueblo Style homes.<\/p>\nWe took a tour around central Santa Fe today. It\u2019s a little hard to get good pictures from a moving vehicle, but at least it was open-air, so I didn\u2019t have windows to contend with. Some of the striking things about Santa Fe are the architectural styles, and the sculptures seen all over.<\/p>\n
The buildings are limited in core historic districts by the building codes to primarily Pueblo Style and Territorial Style. The buildings are also limited in height, so you won\u2019t see any skyscrapers.<\/p>\n

The type of fence on this house is called a Coyote fence.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n There are other styles (mostly grandfathered in) but the overwhelming majority are these styles.<\/p>\n I like the way the Pueblo Style embeds wood elements directly into the walls.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The Canyon Drive area has around 100 art galleries including many with sculptures, but there are many sculptures scattered around the city.
