About a month ago, she began outpatient physical therapy, even though she was dealing with very painful Achilles tendonitis. Nevertheless, she pushed on. She has increased her stamina and her ability to do things like work in the kitchen, and we&#8217;ve gone out to restaurants and a play. The milestones haven&#8217;t been quite as dramatic as some of the earlier ones&#8211;until now. Yesterday at physical therapy I witnessed a big step, figuratively and literally.
