I had a chance to go take pictures today. I wanted to get some shots of the Kenmore Herons while they were nesting.
Then I went to Log Boom Park in Kenmore for some more shots. Some rowers were out practicing.
And a few cormorants (I think) were having a look.
I think these guys were getting ready to settle down for the night.
A seaplane landed while I was there. I saw a couple of eagles flying around, too, but they were too far away for a good shot.
We went to town today, but there are cranes, swans, geese etc flying over the garden all the time here too.
Funny, I did the same thing yesterday along the Sammamish River Trail. No herons, but some other birds. These are lovely; good use of your telephoto.
Wonderful….a total picture of happenings in Kenmore!
1. Yup, cormorants.
2. It’s never seemed right to see herons in trees.
3. Good pics!
I tried to get some in flight, but I wasn’t successful.
