We roasted (vegetarian) hot dogs over Tim and Annalena’s fire pit, and enjoyed Tim’s sauerkraut and the company of friends. Janie made a berry caprese salad to go with dinner, and Li joined us.
The weather has been hot, but it began to cool off. After dinner, we had a evening tour of the garden.

They told us about the family of hedge hogs, and we got to see them first hand. Here is one of the young ones.
Looks like they are wonderful hosts! With all the cold winters it is no wonder the days go on for the summer! The garden looks great~
