Last stop of vacation. It was a long drive from Enterprise to Yakima, and we were really tired, but the hotel had a good bar and bistro, so we didn’t have to go out again for dinner. Sarah had steamed clams, I had mini tacos, but I can’t remember what the others had.
In the morning I looked out of our balcony to see what looked like swans in the river. With my telephoto, I realized they were pelicans.
Would these be Great White Pelicans or American White Pelicans? Please dont tell me they are great white american pelicans….did you know adults are monogamous?
